TruGen Labs Inc. is a technology and infrastructure company developing proprietary business software, cloud infrastructure, data systems, automation, and artificial intelligence — for the businesses that were never big enough to have a technology department and never small enough to do without one.
Origin
It started as an operator's problem, not a product idea.
TruGen Labs' founder ran a third-party logistics business. Like most operators at that scale, he was running it on assembled software: one system for inventory, another for client access, another for invoicing, another for shipping, another for communications. None of them knew about each other. Every question that crossed two systems became a person's afternoon.
The available options were to keep buying subscriptions, or to pay for custom development at a price the business couldn't justify. He took a third one: he learned to build the platform himself, using AI-assisted software development, and constructed the exact operating system that business needed.
That became Lithos.
The same approach then went to four more ventures in his own portfolio, and after that to businesses outside it — a restaurant group, a wellness practice, an affiliate network, a family office, an events venue. Different industries, different customers, different regulatory shapes.
And the same pattern kept appearing. The businesses were genuinely different. Most of their underlying technology requirements were not. Authentication, permissions, customers, inventory, scheduling, invoicing, documents, notifications, reporting — the same infrastructure, wearing a different industry's vocabulary.
That observation is the whole company. If most of what a business needs has already been built and proven somewhere else, then the work isn't writing it again — it's composing it correctly for this business. That produced the TGL Capability Library, and the architecture for SETH.
On the founder's background
TGL's founder is not a career software engineer, and the company does not claim otherwise. The advantage here is a different one: direct operating experience in the businesses these systems are for, combined with AI-enabled technology development. Knowing what a warehouse actually needs at 6am is not a substitute for engineering discipline — but it is not something engineering discipline supplies either.
What we do
Build it, own it, run it.
TGL develops purpose-built operating platforms, hosts them on infrastructure it operates, and keeps improving them as the business changes. Customers license their environment; TGL retains the underlying platform and technology.
Own the stack
We run our own infrastructure, identity, and communications. Renting the foundation means inheriting someone else's constraints.
Say what's true
Live, in development, and roadmap are labeled separately on this site. Credibility outlasts a better-sounding sentence.
Solve it once
Every problem solved becomes a reusable capability. Rebuilding the same thing for a second customer is a failure of architecture.
Operate, don't hand over
We run what we build. A system nobody maintains stops matching the business within a year.
Business model
Recurring infrastructure, not one-time development.
TGL is not a custom-development shop that finishes a project and moves on. Customers license TGL technology and infrastructure and stay on it — because the value is in the system continuing to match the business.
Pricing scales with what an environment actually uses: storage, enabled capabilities, infrastructure requirements, users, locations, AI usage, compute, and advanced services. Specific pricing is set per engagement — we'd rather scope it against your actual operation than publish a number that fits nobody.
What the customer gets
A license to operate their customized environment, their business data, hosting and operation of the system, and continued development as the business changes.
What TGL retains
Ownership of the underlying platform, source code, architecture, reusable components, generalized improvements, and intellectual property. That is what allows the next customer to benefit from work already done.
